Colour Blind Assistance

Many of the features of this site rely primarily on colour to convey information. For example, available sites are displayed in green and orange on maps and sites that are not available are displayed in red. Wherever colour has been used to convey information, we have made efforts to also use other visual clues as to the information.
The following is a partial list of the information that relies on colour and what else we have done to try to assist those who cannot easily distinguish colour.

 Site Availability on Maps:
Whenever we show site availability on a map, we also adjust the font size to show availability. A large, bold font is used for available sites, a smaller font is used for sites that are not available. We also add a 'mouse-over' that will show the availability status of the site if you hold the mouse pointer over the site icon.

 Site Service Level on Maps:
Whenever we show site service levels (serviced or unserviced) on a map, we will also provide a 'mouse-over' that that will show the service level of the site if you hold the mouse pointer over the site icon.

 Site Availability Tool:
Colours are used to show availability on the Site Availability Tool calendar, but we also use fonts - a large, bold font for available sites and a lighter font for dates that are not available. We also provide 'mouse-overs' on each date that will display the availability if you hold the mouse pointer over the date.

 Park Availability Tool:
Colours are used in the Park Availability tool to show which days parks are busy. Each square also has a 'mouse-over' that will display the availability if you hold the mouse pointer over the square.
