I cannot select the arrival date I want - what's wrong?

When you enter dates to make a reservation, only valid arrival dates are displayed.
Reservations are available on a five month window. The dates available in the drop down boxes will be limited to dates within the current 5 month window.
Remember that since the reservation window rolls over at 7am, you will only be able to select a date exactly 5 months ahead after 7am.
 
I can view the maps but I cannot click on the sites. What am I doing wrong?

Please check the Browser Information page and verify the settings for your browser.
This situation is commonly caused by older browser versions.
Make sure you are using one of the recommended browsers and that you have the correct settings.
 
The maps are just blank - what is the problem?

I made a booking and it is showing as pending, what does this mean?

On rare occasions, a transaction request will not be able to return a confirmation to the user. This can happen, for example, when a browser times out before a response is received from the server.
In these situations, you will see the status of your reservation listed as 'pending'.
The status of the booking should be updated within 24 hours of the problem transaction.
If you have a booking that has been pending for more than 24 hours you should call the reservation call centre at 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) to confirm the current status.
IF you have a booking listed as 'pending' that reservation is NOT confirmed and you may not have a reservation.
 
I made a reservation through the call centre, why can't I view it online?

When you make a booking through the call centre, we do not ask you for your online password.Without this identifying information we cannot give online access to these bookings.
With the current system, therefore, you can only view online transactions online.

To change or cancel bookings made at the call centre or at the park you should call the reservation call centre.
 
Why do the maps trail off the edge of the page when I print them?

Our maps are designed for use on the internet, they are not specifically designed for printing.
However, most of the maps on this site will print just fine if you print them in Landscape View.
Before printing a map, go to your page-setup option on your menu and make sure to select Landscape instead of Portrait. Printers usually default to Portrait View.
Once you have this option set, you should be able to print our maps just fine.
 
I enter my reservation information , choose a location and when I select a site I am taken back to the province of ontario overview map. I am stuck in an endless loop. What can I do to fix this?

This problem is most likely caused by browsers with cookies disabled. To fix this problem consult your browser's help file on how to enable cookies. This problem is most common when using an AOL web browser.
 
I am trying to book five months ahead of my arrival date. How do I know what campsites are coming available tomorrow?

You can browse availability beyond the five-month reservation window. This allows you to see which campsites may be available in the future. Please remember that other reservations can impact availability. Click on the New Reservation link on the left and click on the 'Allow me to view future availability' box beside the arrival month. This will allow you to select a date up to 6 months from the current date. If you select a date more than 5 months in the future as your arrival date you won't be able to make a reservation but you will be able to see current availability for the selected dates. Please remember that other reservations will affect availability in the future.
 
I am trying to stay on a specific site, how can I tell when it is available?

Click on 'Site Availability' on the left and select your preferred park and site number. When you click on 'Show Availability' you will see a calendar showing reservations for the site. If you find dates that you want to camp you can enter them and proceed to complete your reservation. You can view different dates by using the Month titles above the calendar. You can view availability for other sites by selecting another site from the selection box. Please remember that due to reservation limits in effect in all parks, a specific site may not be available for reservation for specific dates due to the number of reservations already in the park for those dates.
