Reservation Policy
Campsites and convenience camping (yurts, cabins, platform tents) can be reserved online. Washington State Parks offers additional facilities such as group camps, day-use shelters, vacation houses and marina slips at certain parks that can be reserved through the call center. There are also some non-reservable parks. Refer to Washington State Park Reservation Information for more details. Tacoma Power Parks offers group camps and day-use shelters available directly through the parks. Refer to Tacoma Power Reservation Information for details.

Payment:

Online bookings require a Visa or a MasterCard. Your card will be charged the full amount of the camping fee plus the $7 non-refundable reservation fee before you receive confirmation of the booking. Your campsite fee includes one vehicle. Any additional vehicles brought to the park must be registered at the office and pay an additional fee per night.

Change Policy:

All changes must be made by calling 888-CAMPOUT (888-226-7688) between 7 am and 8pm PT 7 days a week.
Changes to campsites or convenience camping (yurts, cabins, platform tents) will be charged $7 unless delaying the arrival date 7 days or less prior to the original arrival date in which case 1 night's fee will be charged.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations for bookings made online may be processed online. Others must be made by calling 888-CAMPOUT (888-226-7688).
Cancellation of a campsite or convenience camping booking (yurts, cabins, platform tents) will be charged $7 if canceling more than 7 days in advance of the arrival date. Cancellations 7 or fewer days before arrival will forfeit all fees to a maximum of 2 nights. If you have not registered at the park by check-out time (1 pm) the day following the arrival date, the no show penalty is the forfeit of all fees to a maximum of 3 nights.

Timing:

Reservations may be made up to 9 months in advance of the arrival day up until the day prior to the arrival day. Reservations for summer holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July or Labor Day) require a 2 night minimum including the Saturday (i.e. Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday.). If you cancel one of the two nights, there will not be a refund for that night. Changes or cancellations may be processed up to 8 months in advance of the arrival date up until the day prior to arrival. If booking more than one campsite for overlapping time periods on behalf of others, additional bookings will require a different name and address of the person who will be camping on the site.
